Do you have a dirty mind?
Does your words wanna make your mate beg for more?
The first annual Sin City Sessions Dirty and Erotic poetry contest
will commence Dec. 23 as poets are invited to enter and win online
gift certificates to your favorite online store.
There are two different categories to chose from...
Dirty - Poetry of a comical or are raunchy in nature.
Erotic - poetry that are sexy and sensual
Prizes
First place in each category receives $25 gift certificates, second
$15, and third $10.The winners will get to pick the online store of
their choosing.
Here are the rules....
Entries can be recorded via mp3 or wav; or read in person on the show.
You can mail your poems to somewhereinvegas@ gmail.com
You can enter up to three poems in each category. They can be old or
new poetry from the writer - but must be original. You can also choose
a surrogate to read the poem. You don't have to be present to win, but
it does help garner support from the chat room, as they will help the
judges decide.
There will be five judges and it will be their decision on who wins
the prizes. Judges will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
If we get a large set of entries to the contest, we will do separate
"semi-finals" shows in which the top entries will be selected and be
brought to a finals competition show. An announcement will be made the
week before the Dec. 23 deadline if this is the case, and we will let
you know when and where the semi-finals and finals will be held.
Entries maybe used on "Sin City Sessions" after the contest ends, but
poems will be credited to the poet when used. Poets can also feel free
to let us know where their websites are.
