RAGE_AGAINST_CONVENTION
THREE WORDS. A WAY OF THINKING AND LIVING.
I am from Lake County, IL. I write poetry and short fiction. From time to time I get up and perform on stage. However, stages are few and far between here unless you live in the city of Chicago (Cook County).
But, the BTR and shows like the DEHITMEN allow me to express my vision all over the world and for that I am eternally greatful.
I have gone through alot for the sake of poetry and promoting myself and others. I have been used (monetarily and otherwise), called a fake and a phony. But, God has a way of opening doors when other ones close behind you.
Spoken word is not to be entered into lightly. You do it for yourself first and let all the other shit follow. Don't worry about how the words sound at first. It is your voice. Consider your audience and then speak from your heart. My official words of advice.
Well, that is a little about me and how my head works. :)
